We are completing the final phase of the deprecation of the "Use Content Delivery Network" (CDN) feature in Zoom Meetings Web. The UI-side disablement was rolled out last year, and we are now performing a full backend cleanup — removing the remaining codebase and associated database tables.
What Is Changing?
The backend infrastructure supporting the "Use Content Delivery Network" toggle is being permanently removed. This includes:
- Removal of all code related to the CDN feature - Cleanup of associated database tables
The feature's UI control has already been disabled and was communicated in a prior release. This update completes the full deprecation cycle.
Why Are We Making This Change?
This cleanup effort is designed to reduce technical debt, streamline our codebase, and minimise the risk of future regressions. It is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a healthy and efficient platform.
Impact on Administrators
- No disruption is expected. This is a backend-only cleanup with no customer-facing impact. - No breaking changes or compatibility issues are anticipated. - No action is required from administrators or end users.
This communication is being sent proactively out of an abundance of caution, in the unlikely event of any minor hiccups during the maintenance window.
Questions or Concerns?
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Zoom support.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep the platform robust and reliable. Posted on

Due to a change with our phone carrier, the following Costa Rica Toll number is being decommissioned:
Costa Rica: +506 xxxx 0180
Accounts will still have other Toll and Toll-Free numbers available for use.
Please make sure to make any necessary updates in your Admin Portal (https://zoom.us/account/setting?tab=telephony) to ensure availability for use of the remaining Toll and Toll-Free numbers on your account. Only if you are not already using the remaining numbers, currently scheduled meetings for 6/30/2026 and onward may need to be rescheduled so that the updated numbers will be reflected in newly scheduled meetings. If meeting invites are not updated to reflect the additional numbers, participants dialing in from applicable regions will not be able to join using the decommissioned number(s) after 6/30/2026. Any newly created meetings scheduled after you’ve updated the numbers in your portal will be automatically updated with the remaining number(s) for future invites.
To view your current and new numbers in order to make the above changes, please visit your Admin Portal. There you will be able to find all Premium Toll and Toll-Free numbers that will remain supported.
